An Australian term. A Working with Children Check is a state or territory screening scheme for people in child-related work. Queensland’s version is the Blue Card. Checks are not automatically portable across Australian state borders.
In the UK, do not write WWCC or Blue Card as the local requirement. England and Wales use DBS checks at defined levels; Scotland uses PVG; Northern Ireland uses AccessNI. Eligibility for standard and enhanced DBS checks is set in legislation.
