Frequently asked questions
What happens when I hit 25 active tasks on the free plan?
You can't create new tasks until you complete, cancel, or archive existing ones to free up slots. Your team data, member profiles, and chat history are all preserved — nothing gets deleted. If you regularly need more than 25 tasks running at once, that's when Pro makes sense.
What counts as an "active" task?
An active task is one that's currently open for signup or in progress. Once a task is completed or cancelled, it moves to your archive and no longer counts toward the 25-task limit on the free plan.
Is the free plan really free? What's the catch?
It's genuinely free with no expiration date and no credit card required. You'll only ever pay if you choose to upgrade for additional features. We don't auto-enroll anyone into paid plans.
How much do I save with annual billing?
Pro annual is $99/month ($1,188/year) compared to $119/month on monthly billing — a 17% saving. Enterprise pricing may also vary by billing term; we'll discuss this on your onboarding call.
Can I switch between monthly and annual billing?
Yes. You can change your billing cycle from your account settings at any time. If you switch from monthly to annual mid-cycle, the remaining balance is prorated.
Can I pause or cancel my paid subscription?
Yes. If you cancel, your account reverts to the free Standard plan. All your existing data — members, task history, and chat messages — is preserved. If your usage fits within the free plan limits, you can keep using Zelos indefinitely. Reactivate your paid plan whenever you're ready.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards. Payment is processed securely through Stripe.
Do you offer a nonprofit or education discount?
Yes. Registered nonprofits and educational institutions may qualify for discounted pricing on Pro and Enterprise plans. Contact our support team for details.
What happens to my data if I downgrade?
Your team data, member profiles, and task history are preserved when you downgrade. On the free plan, you'll be subject to the Standard limits (25 active tasks, 100-task archive, 10,000 chat messages), but nothing is deleted. You retain CSV export access on every plan.
Can I run multiple teams on one account?
Yes. A single Zelos account can manage multiple independent teams, each with its own member list, tasks, and settings.
