What are grassroots campaigns?

What is a grassroots campaign?

A grassroots campaign is a movement that engages a large number of people who advocate for the causes they care about. Organising and mobilising these people is done at the local level, not by central leadership.

Grassroots campaigns aim to raise awareness about important local issues that are not receiving enough mainstream media coverage. Bringing attention to these problems will put pressure on decision-makers to address them. Eventually this will create positive change in the community.
